As the Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Stand Up India & Atal Pension Yojana (APY) are very important schemes for which Government of India is attaching a lot of focus. The progress under these schemes, as is being reviewed/ discussed in various SLBC meetings, is not up to the desired level and pendency is also high.
To increase the awareness of the banks’ branches/ field functionaries about the these schemes/ working of their portals and also to clarify the doubts/ queries, workshops on the above 3 schemes i.e. Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Stand Up India & Atal Pension Yojna were conducted by SLBC-Delhi in coordination with their Nodal Agencies i.e. KVIC, SIDBI & PFRDA on 24.01.2018 (Wednesday) so that the progress may be accelerated and pending cases may be disposed off.
The senior /Dealing officials from member banks. LDMs besides senior officials from these agencies i.e. KVIC, SIDBI & PFRDA participated in these workshops.
At the outset, Shri P. Sreedhar, GM & Convenor, SLBC, Delhi welcomed all the participants. (list of the participants attached)
Workshop was attended by Smt.Vijya Kamble, Assistant Director, KVIC and Sh.H.S.Hooda, Executive KVIC. Sh H. S. Hooda gave a power presentation on PMEGP and high lighted the main features PMEGP and its portal. A flow chart on was also provided on KVIC portal of PMEGP (Copy of PPF and flow chart is also attached).
Bank wise and district wise progress and pendency under PMEGP was also discussed during the workshop. Member Banks and LDMs were requested to further educate their branches/ field functionaries about the scheme and working of PMEGP portal. They were also requested to take up with their branches for disposal of off all the pending cases, update all sanctioned/disbursed cases on KVIC portal to mark their progress and submit the progress of the pending cases latest by 31.01.2018, as the bank wise progress will be discussed/ reviewed by the house in forthcoming 90th SLBC-Delhi meeting going to be held on shortly.

Member Banks and LDMs were requested to further educate their branches/field functionaries about the Stand up India scheme and working of its portal. They were also requested to take up with their branches for sanction of minimum one loan per branch each under SC/ST and Women category to achieve the target and submit the progress latest by 31.01.2018 as the bank wise progress will be discussed/ reviewed by the house in forthcoming 90th SLBC-Delhi meeting to be held shortly.
Some of the LDMs raised the issue of non updation/ correction of district wise details of the bank branches on Stand up India portal. In response Sh. Gyanesh, Manager SIDBI requested the LDMs to submit the following details of the braches in their respective district to SIDBI latest by 31.01.2018 under information to SLBC-Delhi so that SIDBI can up date the same on the portal. LDMs assured to comply.

From PFRDA by Sh. K. Mohan Gandhi, GM and Ms. Puja Upadhyay, Manager attended the workshop. A power presentation was also given by Ms. Puja Upadhyaya on Atal Pension Yojana (APY) and highlighted the main features of APY (Copy of PPT attached). .
Bank wise progress under APY was also discussed during the workshop. Member Banks and LDMs were requested to further educate their branches/ field functionaries about the APY scheme and to take more initiatives for maximum enrolments under APY particularly from unorganised sector of society to fill up the gap so that the target may be achieved well in time. They were also requested to submit the bank-wise progress latest by 31.01.2018 to SLBC-Delhi so that the bank wise progress will be discussed/ reviewed by the house in forthcoming 90th SLBC-Delhi meeting going to be held on shortly.
